Question: Discuss About The Integrative Psychology Behavioral Science? Answer: Introducation The behaviour of a human being is dependent on his/ her personality. People with great personalities will behave in a manner indicating the greatness of their personality. Personality is a way of thinking, feeling and behaving that embraces moods, economics and opinions that are expressed in interaction with other people (Holzman, 2013). It distinguishes one from another making it difficult to find people with same personality. Having answered the online questions my character trait or personality was calculated and a summary of the same shown. The first personality test indicated that I had a consul personality type. This type of personality is more popular within a population. Consuls are considered to be more concerned with fashion, appearance, social status and their relationships with other people. The work hard to use their power for good (16Personalities, 2017). Consuls are outgoing and supportive and can be spotted in many party events, they are into service in which they are able to take any role given to them and work effectively to give out results (Larocco, 2014). The second personality test reveals the big five personality reports. It lists the five factors of personality and gives the six facets that describes each factor. The five factors of personality which are shown includes: conscientiousness, operations and experience, extraversions, agreeableness and natural reactions (123 Test, 2017). Conscientiousness recorded the highest percentage of 85%, extraversion 53%, agreeable 43% openness to experience 36% and finally natural reactions at 30% (123Test, 2017). These results shows my personality level factoring in the factors of personality. From the results I get to understand that I am an outgoing person, well organised, discipline, open minded, compassionate, eager to please and am prone to worries. The result was partly surprising as some of the traits were contrary to what I thought I was. I used to think I am more of resistant to worries and anxiety, this turned out to be false. I also believed that I was compassionate and loving to the poor, I expected to score an 80% plus in this level which then recorded a percentage below 46%. On the other hand, some characteristics that I thought I could score the least percentage, gave me a surprise in that I scored the highest. For example, I pay less attention to my dressing code and appearance, but among the five factors of personality conscientiousness had the highest percentage and it has the attribute of being well organised in it. The outcome of this personality check is very vital in my personal life. It has shown the various attributes that I possess and the level of possession. This is very much important especially to me as student. It has helped me understand on how I need to relate with other students and the poor in society. It has rotated on my outgoing attribute, this is very important in class, especially as a leader, we are required to be courageous and outgoing. The attributes that am well represented is the ability to be well organised, disciplined, efficient and conscientiouswhich are very important in the job market. It widens my scope of getting employment. Personality testing is very important to every individual as it helps one understand their personal characteristics and attributes (Leutner, 2014).They are able to change where needed or adjust to the required state. Many people have adjusted business-law to the required standards making their life a success. Personally, there are many areas that the personality tester has pointed out that I have to work on. The first tester pointed out that I had a consul personality. With the characteristics associated with this, I have to alter my way of life in order to fit well to the competitive world. For instance, being over supportive and outgoing where in every party and bash I have to be available. This is dangerous and can cause deleterious effects on academics. As indicated by Harley (2016), we realise that coming into consensus with a person with consul personality is a big challenge. Consul have a challenge of uniting two disagreeing people. They will always criticize and when thing hurts, it doesnt bother them. This is a cruel characteristic and I have to work on it for me to be a peace ambassador. In the second personality tester, there are some of the big five factors that I scored below average. This factors of personality and very important and has to be improve. Among the least performed factors which needs improvement are: natural reactions, openness to experience and agreeable which scored below average. These traits are crucial in different spheres of life, and thus will focus to work and improve on them. Apart from the poorly performed traits, the best performed trait, conscientiousness, also requires focus to ensure that it maintains the rank. In a nut shell, it is very much important for one conduct a personality test as this will help shape the character of the person and improves on their weaknesses to References 123 Test. (2017).
